"The personal is political."
To that well-worn phrase, we'd like to add:
Our home is political.
There are some big issues at stake in this election, so if you're in one of the many US states where there's a primary election or caucus today, take a few minutes to go to your polling place and make your position heard.
Of course, the primary impact of legislation on the home is a big effect on how much energy homes will use in the future. But there are other issues as stake, too: how our leaders will deal with issues like global warming and the issue of terrorism reflects whether they think of the US -- or the world -- as our home.
