apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Welcome to Re-Nest!

12-3-enzo.gifWithout pruning, apple trees bear no fruit.

We really took that to heart over the past six months as we planned for this redesign. We wanted to prune, simplify and provide room for growth. In this, Apartment Therapy's 2nd redesign since 2004, we've made one BIG change: we've combined all of our home design sites into one site and given our other four categories, cooking, children, tech and green, their own homes with room to grow. Take a tour and check it all out. Some parts are still under construction, but there's a lot new to see.

Got a comment or a bug? Leave it here (we're working a lot already!)....

I had to log in on each site to comment.

I've said this before elsewhere, but Re-nest sounds like a site dedicated to getting married the second time or perhaps changing your house around after all the kids move out.

Isn't re-nesting what birds do when they're displaced or it's forced upon them when humans encroach?

Ugh...

How exciting! So THIS is what the countdown was for ... awesome. :) The new site looks great and the name is cute as well. The only part that sucked was I had to come hunting for the site because the old RSS feed doesn't work.

Logging in to each new site to leave my feedback.
Wow :(

I hate it.
Bring back the community feeling. Y'know, like having friends over and creating the community that 's the supposed dictum of the AT philosophy.
I had grown to feel like AT really was a community, as the original mission stated.
Now it feels like a shopping site. Or a narcissistic blog that's being posted for all to read but not really meant to join in on.
I guess y'all just out grew us. I enjoyed it while it lasted.
Posted plenty of other comments over on the other 'Sites,'so I'll just end by saying I feel like I'm posting on some giant corporate, faceless .com.

The RSS feed's working fine for me, though I agree with KrapArtist's comments about the name.

However, I've noticed that on the main page, the number of comments for each post aren't registering. It lists every post as having 0 comments.

The RSS feed has been working for me, but recently I've been getting duplicates - one with the short version of a post and another with the full version. I used to just get the full version.
