This isn't going to come out sounding quite right, but... Green Home Environmental Products seems sort of like the Wal-Mart of green home stores. Need a rain barrel? They've got it. Recycled-content toilet paper? No problem. A green mattress? Why not?
It's not the most exciting web site, but it looks like it gets the job done. We're impressed by the breadth of products available all in one location. Just take a look at the types of categories you can click through while shopping: bath, bedding, clothing, furniture, housekeeping, etc.
Yeah, you can buy your organic cotton T-shirts along with your yard composter. No big deal.
Check it out.
Given the recent efforts by Wal-Mart to improve environmental awareness of consumers, maybe it comes out sounding just fine.

I have had problems with ordering from Green Home in the past. My order took over a month to arrive and it was missing an item. I emailed back and forth for a number of weeks trying to receive that last item. The customer service rep was downright rude until I finally proved it to them that I had in fact ordered the item and had been charged for it. I finally just asked for a refund. I have ordered from a lot of different businesses and that level of rudeness has only been something I have encountered at larger corporate-y places. I will never order from them again.
My mom does phone customer support, so I am always nice to customer support people. Also, I work in IT, so I'm used to people complaining to me without giving me the relevant details. I sent kindly worded emails and provided detail regarding order date, item ordered, etc. There was no cause for the rudeness.
I presume they aren't like that with everyone or they wouldn't still be in business. I just wanted to offer my cautionary tale.
