Sustainable Furniture by Oficinaethos

pinkbench.jpgSometimes (we hate to admit it) furniture made from salvaged wood can be a little on the boring side. Sometimes the "organic" style dominates and the fun is a little lost. Not so with the furniture coming from Brazil design house Oficinaethos.

We're super charmed by Oficinaethos' use of color. They're not afraid to go pink ... bright pink. The bench (pictured above) is one of their tamer pieces. Other pieces look like something straight out of Alice and Wonderland.

The wood they use for their furniture is primarily FSC-certified and salvaged from demolition sites. But you'd never guess it. The pieces are pristine.

What do you think about the pink? Hot or not?
