aMAIZEing Biobased Solvent & Stripper

Be careful when you're stripping paint on projects around your home. Most paint strippers have very high VOC levels. But aMAIZEing Biobased Solvent & Stripper is made of corn and soy, creating a completely natural and safe solvent for removal of paint, adhesives, mastic, and graffiti. It can also be used for for cleaning/degreasing.

It's good for you and the environment because it has no environmentally hazardous ingredients. If a product like this does the job, I'm not sure why anyone would use the harmful standards again. Does anyone have experience with products like this? -regina

Hey there! I haven't used this particular solvent, but for another great solution check out this product:

My husband is using it to strip the paint on our house and has been extremely pleased with it. We are putting linseed paint on and are happy with the low VOC.

I recently tried out SoyGel paint remover with incredible results! I have a tiny NYC apartment, but was still able to cover my old painted dresser with the Soygel just a foot away from my bed, and no nasty fumes. No smell at all in fact! I had to purchase online from Amazon since none of the local stores sold this product, but it was worth the shipping and the wait. Highly recommended.
