The folks at Hopworks Urban Brewing have come up with a green and stylish new way of serving and transporting beer: by bike! They've built a pedal-powered bar on the frame of a cargo bike that holds two kegs, pizza and has a built in sound system...
The "pub bike" was built by local box bike builder Metrofiets specially for Hopworks Urban Brewing, and will debut at the company's Biketoberfest on 9/19.
The bike is designed to hold two full sized kegs, 25 pounds of ice, and even a stack of pizzas. Custom made taps featuring bike hubs by Shimano and Chris King are mounted on top of a beautiful inlaid wooden bar. Not only is this bike functional, but it's stylish as well.
When fully loaded with beer and ice, the bike will weigh around 400 pounds, just shy of Metrofiets' weight limit. But wait, there's more! Future plans for the bike include a second sound pannier, a solar panel cover for the pizza rack which will power the sound system, and an LED lighted bar base.
Check it out this weekend at Portland Biketoberfest.

That thing looks to be 2 wheeled - why does that seem like a bad idea...?

We saw something almost similar in amsterdam, though more stable. They did pedal to move, though. http://lh5.ggpht.com/_RcSIgQRd-V8/SmiQq7Y10UI/AAAAAAAAAVs/aTMkKpSfnM8/s720/CIMG5112.JPG
