Formaldehyde.

We didn't like the smell of it when we had to dissect frogs in our high school biology class and we don't like it in our homes. And, after all we've read about the horrible health effects formaldehyde has had on those who were given FEMA trailers after hurricane Katrina, we're trying to be even more vigilant about keeping it out of our house.

That's why we like p+a furniture -- clean, modern lines ... no urea formaldehyde ... low VOC stains and finishes ... and sustainably harvested wood (not to mention, lots of recycled wood as well). Their beds and room dividers are especially handsome.

Check out all of their products.
