Savasa Eco Body Ball

01_26_09_savasa.jpgWe're sitting here at our desk, bouncing on a surprisingly green impulse buy this weekend: a Savasa Eco Body Ball. It's January, which means our resolution to "get in shape this year" is off to a strong start. So when we saw this exercise ball at the sporting goods store this weekend, we thought it'd be the perfect way to bring the gym home.

What makes it better than the rest?

The Savasa eco line is made with non-toxic (phthalate-free) PVC materials. It's a great workout tool that's not too hard on the Earth. And it can't hurt that it doubles as a desk chair, right?

The Savasa Fit line has phthalate-free weighted balls and yoga mats as well. We were able to find them online, but be sure to check your local sporting goods store if you're in the market for some new workout equipment.

PVC is not "eco" - no matter what! Umbra says so... http://www.grist.org/advice/ask/2006/10/25/pvc/
