This is going to sound a little odd, but hopefully some readers can relate: Our cat loves. craves. needs. must have... salad.
Some cats flip for tuna fish or chicken -- ours might just rip your fingers off in excitement if you so much as bring a piece of romaine into our apartment.
When we first noticed his odd obsession with leafy greens, we did a little research.
As it turns out, outside cats get to nibble on grass all day -- it's good for their digestion and it provides another source of hydration in their diet. Inside cats don't often have access to grass so they'll settle for salad.
Yeah, sure, Charlie likes cat grass; but, he LOVES organic baby romaine lettuce.
So, now, whenever we have a salad with dinner -- which is most nights -- Charlie gets his own little dish of organic lettuce. It's kind of insane, but worth it. However; it is also important to note that a lot of human food/plants are poisonous to cats. We've read that a little organic lettuce is fine (and we stress organic so that you don't expose your pet to any nasty chemicals), but other than that, be sure to check with a vet or do your own research.
Our other cat simply sniffs the lettuce and can't seem to figure out what all the fuss is about -- so, apparently it won't appeal to all felines.
Do your cats eat anything really weird?

Bananas, our cat absolutely LOVES bananas. I know they can't digest the fruit but he likes to lick the inside of the peel, and sometimes pulls off the stringy bits and eats them. We're bad and give our other cat our cereal milk, and every time Atticus (banana cat) tries he the throws up, so the occasional banana is his treat.

One of mine loves fruits. Anything from apple to mango to cherry. I tried to get him to stay away from grapes, but he would be all over me when I get some fruits out for myself.

Earwax. My cat loves earwax.
There, I said it...

Saltines. When I was pregnant she bit my finger trying to get a saltine out of my hand in bed. She won't eat fish or chicken or any other cat foods besides her crunchies.

Roger goes crazy for Fritos corn chips. I will give him just one. I don't think corn, corn oil, and salt will kill him so I think one is OK.
I adopted him from a shelter when he was already three years old. Every time I open an air-sealed food bag he goes nuts and begs. I don't know WHAT his former owners fed him but.. wow.

Nectarine pit -- one time.
We didn't let him develop a habit out of it, but one time, when he was young, we discovered too late he was eating the pit, as if it were a delicacy.

Mine loves egg, cheese, vegemite, chocolate (I don't let her eat it, because clearly bad for her, but if we eat chocolate she will obsessively lick the wrapper), pizza crust, chicken curry, milky tea, and loves loves LOVES porridge.

Rebekkap, please please don't even let her lick the chocolate wrapper!

I have one cat that goes nuts for popcorn and will snag it out of your hand and another that loves cheddar cheese and doritos. I mean she looooooooooves them.
My DH had a cat that apparently loved corn on the cob.

One of my cats eats plastic, the other digs for dirty q-tips. So gross. I don't let them, but every damn plastic bag we have has little cat teeth marks. Plastic cat enjoys lettuce, and Q-tip cat eats EVERYTHING and begs and begs for human food. damn cats, i love em.

I've got three cats, and they all like something different. Toulouse adores yogurt... don't even try opening a container in the house without him knowing... and crackers. Like Green Me's cat, he'll bug you incessantly until he gets one. Kanoe likes pistachios (we've only let her have one, and talked to the vet about it, but it's a little odd for a cat), and Captain adores East Indian (especially masala) and Chinese food, cheese, eggs and raw fish. Crazy cats. Everything in moderation...

Squall likes to lick my yogurt dish when I've had greek yogurt with maple syrup on it. It's the only thing other than kibble she'll eat. She'll play with other treats but never eat them.
Chibi ADORES ika (a dried sugar/salt squid snack from Japan) and spicy things. She also likes eggs and cheese. But no matter what, she wants to know what I'm eating. She'll cry until I pick her up and show her what it is and then she'll leave me alone.

We have a 5 month old kitten and she will pretty much eat anything in site. Last week she obsessed over a green bean, yesterday I found her hoarding a chick pea, and don't even get me started on what she'll do for meat or cheese. Sometimes she is so eager to find out what I'm eating that she'll jump up and latch into my hips with her claws attempting to climb into my arms. She is relentless!

Jack is also five months old, and interested in anything I have to eat, though I don't give him any. However, I did drop a piece of popcorn recently and he ate it before I could even pick it up. A few days ago, I returned home to find that Jack had gotten into the bag of green beans from my mother's garden. A few were strewn across the floor, and one was chewed open and all the beans inside gone. At least he's eating healthy?
My last cat, Obi (RIP) had no interest in people food EXCEPT Eggo waffles. If he heard the toaster he came running.

my cat loved olives. if we had a dish of olives on the table, he would leap onto the table, very carefully avoiding everything else, and head straight for the olives.

Olives
Corn chips
Grapes
Tomato sauce
Any cheese
Chocolate (always wants fudge but he's not getting any!)
Hummus
But will not touch grilled chicken breast. Ha!
I found my cat in an alley and I guess he liked dumpster diving for food.

Cheryl K... I don't think tomatoes are good for cats. At least that's what my vet tells me. A google search turns up a wide range of reactions from cats, cooked tomatoes might be okay, but if you hadn't heard that I thought I'd let you know.

Lenny the cat goes nuts for ginger-peach tea. If I drink it out of a tall glass he dips his paw in and licks it all off, like a sponge. He'll go for cold coffee, too, although we don't let him. Caffeine makes him climb the walls.
When he gets a little catnip he always wants greens, though. He'll go straight to the cat grass and chow down!

My late kitty LOVED Cantaloupe...It was really weird. I also discovered that I could not leave the following foods alone in a room with her: Ramen, Pretzels and Corn Cobs. But she was CRAAAAZY for the Cantaloupe. For her birthday (oh, embarrassing) we would chop up sardines and mix them with the melon and she would be in HEAVEN!
Also, on the tomato sauce not from above: most homemade cat food recipes I have tried include either tomato sauce or tomato paste, so it must not be an IMMEDIATE risk. Still, check with your vet. I will too.

I think the weirdest thing is corn on the cob. I can leave steak and corn on a plate unattended, and the steak is always safe. They'll suck the cob dry before I can get near it.
Then YoYo loves grapes, muscadines, blueberries, and boiled peanuts.
But the corn thing, that's always just seemed bizarre to me.

My younger kitty loves health food - whole grain crumbs from my morning bagel (I say, "Kitten! Whole grains!" and she cleans up the crumbs for me), stove-top popcorn, yogurt, and dried fruits. Her kitten food had dried fruit in it, and she would eat the fruit before the kibble. Now she gets a small amount of dried apples for an evening treat.
My older kitty is more interested in "junk" foods - fake chicken nuggets are her favorite.
The funny thing is that junk food kitty is the skinny one, and health nut kitten is chubby.

My kitties will steal lettuce out of the salad bowl, but they don't really eat it, they just chew it.
