Banana Leaf Cat Cave

Sometimes we're appalled by the prices we see on cat furniture. Those cat condos are not cheap and, unfortunately, they're not attractive either. But, cats seem to love 'em.

If we were going to drop some serious dough on a piece of cat furniture, we'd want something like this.

The Banana Leaf Cat Cave comes in three separate pieces (cave, base, and cushion) and can be rearranged so that the opening is at the top or the side.

Banana leaf is obviously a pet-friendly and eco-friendly material. It's also easy on the eyes -- we'll take banana leaf over an oatmeal-carpet covered 5-foot monstrosity any day.

And, to top it all off, the Banana Leaf Cat Cave is $84.99. Not exactly cheap, but more affordable than a lot of the other, less-attractive options out there!

i think this material would get destroyed really fast - and be messy, too! i think cardboard is the best...it is no doubt messy, but it really does last. and it withstands both my beasts.

It's on sale at www.meijer.com for $65 right now - I was looking for reviews because I am thinking of getting one - previous poster is probably correct that my cats would shred it!
