Cat Beds by Vurv Design and Kilowatt Studio

Just spied these awesome new cat beds by Vurv Design and Kilowatt studio over at moderncat. We're particularly prone to ooohing and ahhhing over good-looking pet furniture. Probably because the stuff we have is so ugly ...

These cat beds are not only handsome, they're also made from wool, bamboo, and organic cotton. The only problem is, our cats never sleep where we hope that they will. Still, we think they might change their minds if they saw Vurv and Killowatt's charming little beds. A girl can dream, right?

Those beds are approximately $500 each. That's more than my bed costs. No thanks. Kitty is perfectly happy sleeping on a pile of my clothes.

Agreed. There is nothing green about spending 500 dollars on a cat bed, because making 500 dollars isn't done energy free.

Would I buy one for $500? No. But they sure look cool... much better than my cardboard box with a old pillow stuffed into it. Heh.

True they are a bit on the pricey side, but they are donating 10% of the sales to the Vancouver Orphaned Kittens Rescue Association which is very cool, it's a great organization.
