Review: 6 Eco-Friendly Dog Beds

9-15-2008dogbed.jpg

We love dogs; but, because our apartment is pretty small and we have no yard to speak of, we don't actually have one. It is a constant source of sorrow (seriously).

So, you might ask, how can we possibly review 6 dog beds? We can't. We're leaving it up to the experts.

The people at dogtime.com have taken the time to thoroughly review 6 brands of eco-friendly dog beds -- West Paw, Bells Beds, Bella Dogga, Lazy Pooch, and Alpaca pet beds.

The reviews give you each bed's green credentials as well as other crucial info (and links to the appropriate sites).

If you're searching for a new dog bed -- this should be a useful tool.

Have you found an eco-friendly dog bed that you .. or, rather, your dog loves?

We have both the eco nap & bumper bed by West Paw and are very pleased with both. Made from recycled plastic bottles, nice colors, they wash very well, and dry easily (the eco nap especially quick drying). I have even put the inserts of the bumper bed in the washing machine.

I can't believe Big Shrimpy wasn't profiled there. I love their stuff. Great colors, all sizes and shapes, you can wash EVERY part of it, and recycled filling. Last beds I'll ever buy (and I went through loads of them before).

The West Paw eco bumper bed is great, according to my dog.
