Remember the Good Question about green framing? We've found another option!

Green House Framing in Portland, Oregon makes frames -- both custom and standard. All their frames are made of reclaimed wood. (They're operating out of Endura Wood Products, an established and respected seller of reclaimed and recycled.)
Not only can you order online, but the prices for their handcrafted work are less than you'd find in a catalog or store for a high-quality frame. This a personal and responsible way to buy green.
Our choice: the plain 5 x 7 in charcoal pictured above for $37 plus shipping -- we've got a set of six moody black and whites that would work well in a composition of these frames.
I've been sooooo tempted to buy a cheap frame at Hobby Lobby, but they are all made in China of who knows what, so I have been holding out for months, looking for something online. I'll that I came up with were frames made from bicycle chains and cutesy things on etsy that just don't match a minimalist home. The last green framing post was not appropriate to photos, but these are simple, beautiful and practical. They are also nice enough to use as a gift for the grandparents. Thank you for sharing this find!!!
