Memo Paper: Made From Elephant Dung?!

elephant11709.jpg Bringing the idea of reuse to an entirely new level...

Made at the Thai Elephant Conservation Center at the Lampang Camp in Asia, the dung of elephants is first collected, and then used to create handmade paper. (How, exactly, isn't explained.) But, we're assured that it's "100% bacteria free, 100% odor free, 100% recycled, and 100% handmade."

It's at Eco Shoppe, and comes in a box with 20 beige-colored sheets.

I received a pack as part of a gift--I'm afraid to open it!

PLEASE! PLEASE! Do not write any blasphemous thoughts on this pad. We don't need anymore controversy having to do with elephant dung.

I volunteer at a FairTrade store that sells Ellie Pooh Products. It comes in boxes that are about the cutest things in the entire world. I've given some memo paper as presents and they also make cute great cards and pins.
The paper is super durable as actual memo paper, like all recycled paper. But there's no smell and they are totally awesome. I highly recommend Mr. Ellie Pooh
