We're big fans of Michelle Kaufmann. We loved the Glidehouse and we fell head over heels for the mkLotus.
Now we're drooling over her latest creation -- the gingerLotus. Yes, a gingerbread replica of the mkLotus, complete with chocolate solar panels!
As Kaufmann explains, this is a pretty cool way to acquaint children with some of the more fundamental green building principles. And then, best of all, you get to eat the final, educational product.

wow... i've been stuck in a rut trying to think of doing something differently this year, and this is exactly it! being an architecture major, I think Ill make a small one for my favorite professor~ thanks for the idea!
