Green Ideas: Three Color Coded Recycle Bags

2008-02-14-recycling bags.jpg
Do you have a recycling system that works really well? Right now we use trash bins, but we like the idea behind these color coded bags. The illustrations can also help kids be a part of recycling.

The bags have handles, are machine washable, and collapse for storage. They're available here for just $14.98.

i think these are great, i looked at them when i saw them posted somewhere else, not a bad price either, my problem is their size, i have a very specific area that i put the recycling in, and it either fits there or i don't get it.

So i have a large rubbermaid roughneck plastic bin, with a smaller white trashcan that fits into it to divide it. It would have just ben the on the big catch all but i already has the small one.

I love these. i have three trash cans i labeled with bottles, paper and a misc and i put pics on them so the kids(2 and 4) are super good at this and my son will even say mom you put it in the wrong bin. But,these have much easier handles. I love the pictures are also on it. I may need to get these
