Uncommon (Recycled) Goods

uncommonbar.jpguncommonplates.jpguncommonmat.jpg

We love websites that make it easy to find exactly what we're looking for. Case in point: The "Recycled" category at Uncommon Goods.

With just a couple of clicks, you can view all of the online retailer's recycled products on one page. According to the site, they are comprised of "sustainable, reclaimed, reused materials." Shown above are the wine case made from an old artillery box; "The Giving Tree" plate with a purpose (10 percent of the profits from this item are donated); and the flip-flop mats.

If you've got $3900 to spare, wouldn't the license plate map be a cool way to study up on your geography? For those of us with less disposable income, there's plenty of other merchandise to choose from as well. The "Recycled" collection offers almost 150 products.

That doormat would be great for those in the thread from a few days ago looking for an attractive, washable, inside doormat.

I might look into one, myself.
