The bath mat in our bathroom is a pretty nondescript oatmeal-colored square of fluffy carpet, with some sort of rubbery backing. We've had it for quite some time and it's getting pretty gross. So we've been shopping around a bit, and just noticed this cork bath mat at Gaiam.
The large cork bath mat ($42) is quite bit more expensive than the carpet-like bath mats we typically buy at Target. However, cork is a pretty fantastic material -- it's renewable and anti-fungal. It apparently dries quickly and it's FSC-certified.
Is it worth the price tag? What do you think?

Maybe I should start drinking wine, hehe. Those are such a good ideas Elizahleigh! I'm definitely going to price some tiles.

i would just watch out with using other types of cork than this. i would think it could be a bit slippery when wet. probably because most cork flooring is coated with a finish. this mat appears to have texture to make it less slippery and it might be unfinished.
