David Stark Helps Launch NYC West Elm
With Lots ‘o Recycled Cardboard

03-11-2009starck.jpgLast week West Elm launched the opening of it’s Manhattan store with a fantastic looking auction of David Stark designs. All the household objects were crafted out of West Elm’s recycled cardboard packaging and look absolutely amazing – if there could be high-end cardboard chic, this would be it.

There were crafty cardboard cacti, clocks, lamps, vases, and much more decorative house wares. Everything was one-of-a-kind and auctioned off to benefit the Cooper-Hewitt design museum.

If you’re in NYC – don’t miss Stark’s pieces, which will be on display at West Elm through the end of March.
