During our regular neighborhood walks, we have seen so many mattresses tossed to the curb over the last week. It must have something to do with the school year starting up -- an out with the old, in with the new mentality.
And, unfortunately, they're all headed to the landfill.
That's why Architecture for Humanity (who you may remember from a post last week) and Rubicon National Social Innovations have teamed up to create a very useful design competition.
