The Green Festival features lots of great drinks and food (of course), children's activities, gifts, music, dancing, trade and green business booths, green career information, exhibits, and how-to workshops. And we did we mention the food?
Speakers include Amy Goodman, Alice Waters, Jim Hightower, Mike Farrell, Damali Ayo and many more. Michelle Kaufmann will also be speaking Saturday at 2pm to discuss the Smart Home and will be signing her new book, Prefab Green.
The festival will take place at Navy Pier. Admission is $15 for a 2-day pass; $10 for for seniors, public transit and bike riders, students; FREE – Children 18 and younger, volunteers, Green America and Global Exchange members.
