Office chairs with 4 prongs for the base are unsafe & outlawed for sale in some states. All new office chairs have 5 or more prongs @ the base. I had a lovely bright red Herman Miller office chair for years that I had bought used. About a year ago it flipped with me in it & was lucky my head injury was only a bad bruise. When I went to purchase a new chair they said any chair that has 4 pronged base is unsafe & is no longer sold. Be safe.
