Green Sawn Furniture

11-19-2008bench1.jpgWhile looking for a bench for my landing strip and extra seating for the dining table, I stumbled across Chicago based furniture company, Green Sawn. Green Sawn uses reclaimed lumber and locally sourced wood - the furniture is modern, sustainable and gorgeous.

Green Sawn has a number of already produced pieces, but does custom designs as well. Besides furniture, designer Aaron Pahmier also fabricates countertops, cabinets and doors. All the wood is sourced from demolition sites, reclaimed wood flooring, framing and cabinetry, locally milled lumber, and salvage companies such as Horigan UFP.
