Zody Chair by Haworth

As some of you may remember, after a long, difficult search, we bought a desk a few months back. The delivery guys dropped it off, we set it up in the corner near the window, and then we felt stupid.

Our (super comfortable)(relatively new) office chair was obviously not going to work with the desk -- the sizes were not a match. The chair was too big.

So, we've been using a chair from our dining room table while our office chair collects dust in the basement.

What we'd like to do is sell our nice, big office chair on Craigslist and then buy another office chair on Craigslist (using Jonathan's great advice) that works with our desk.

We admit, this was very poor planning on our part.

But we were inspired when we saw the Zody Chair over at ecofabulous this morning. At $649, it's way more than we would ever dream of spending, but that doesn't mean we can't appreciate its good looks and all the green things it has going for it.

It's the first ever task chair certified as a Cradle to Cradle Gold product; it's constructed with 50% recycled content; and, the energy used in its assembly is offset by Haworth with green-e certified wind energy certificates.

Meanwhile, we'll keep hunting on Craigslist ...

There is no doubt that this green office chair has extraordinary design and a great comfort but as you pointed above it seems a little bit too expesive, usually people go for cheaper office chairs that can provide relatively the same comfort.
