As we've mentioned before, we have a guest staying for a few weeks. We hate to admit it, but she's sleeping on an air mattress in our front room. We have a little place, and she's a bit too tall for the couch.
We really, really wish we had one of these.
The only green thing about the Huggy Armchair (as far as we can tell) is that it is a great small space solution. It serves as an armchair most of the time; but, when you have an overnight guest, it can double as a bed.
For people like us, who live in 1-bedroom apartments, this is a great alternative to the standard futon. And, we think it's actually pretty stylish, as well. We definitely wouldn't mind having a pair in our living room.
What do you think? Are we blind? Do they scream "college dorm room"?

It seems to scream "foam mattress in a tube," and looks very makeshift. As a DIY I could respect this, but not as a purchased, final product (the design just isn't very fine-tuned).
