In case you hadn't noticed, the ad war between Apple and Microsoft is on. Not that we really care -- but something did catch our eye last night as we watched the new and interminable "I'm a PC" commercial.
That guy with the crazy hair, he's a PC, he says, and he designs green buildings. And that building behind him? It totally freaked us out. Doesn't it look sort of like a gigantic bookcase lined with ficus trees? We had to know the story, so we started doing a little research.
Here's the whole commercial, in case you missed it:
Anyway -- the guy? His name is Edouard Francois and he's a green architect. And the building? It's the Flower Tower in Paris, France.
We know all of this because, per usual, Jetson Green was already posting photos this morning, before we'd had our first cup of coffee!
Here's a better picture of the Flower Tower:

Any thoughts on the Flower Tower or Microsoft's new ad campaign?
I find the ad campaign kind of creepy â people are personal computers?
And the building...looks like a giant bookcase lined with ficus trees. Not really attractive if you ask me...

It's f****n hideous.
I'm not surprised it was designed on a PC.
Maybe he could blame a Vista bug . . .
