As the title of the post suggests, these tables by designer Fabien Cappello are made from scrap wood from discarded Christmas trees ... and we think that's a fantastic idea.

Even though it's a little early to be thinking about Christmas trees, they're still a tough environmental issue. They nostalgically warm our hearts, but they're also consumed and discarded with very little thought. We think that turning them into something useful again is a truly inspired idea.
