PaperStone Coasters and Placemats by Dinah Coops

Paperstone is an FSC, Smartwood and Rainforest Alliance-certified material made from post-consumer recycled paper and petroleum-free resin. We've seen it used for countertops, but Seattle-based artist Dinah Coops has employed the hard material to mimic European-style slate coasters and tablemats.

Coops silkscreens her two-color designs onto the coasters and placemats, backing them with thick slabs of cork.

Does anyone know where she gets the 1/4" slabs of paperstone... all the places I've seen it for sale it is only available in countertop thickness. I'd love to acquire some that was less than the 3/4 to 1 1/4 thickness
