Vintage Wallpaper Animal Graphics at The Treehouse

2_26_2008-vogeltjes.jpgWe're amused by this wall graphic when we walk by The Treehouse in Berkeley on our daily commute.

There's a lion, an elephant, and a giraffe, our favorite! They're all made from vintage wallpaper, and, while they're in the kid's section, that's not stopped us from wanting to put an animal up in an unexpected place: bathroom? Home office?

From what we've heard, The Treehouse is the only authorized retailer of behangboom in the US. (You can seen the full line of wall graphics at this Dutch site.) We're a little foggy on price, but seem to recall that they started $75. We'll pop by later today and update this post accordingly.

You won't find the animals on The Treehouse website, but they're super friendly and will gladly take orders over the phone.

Hi

Off course you can make a behangboom tree or animals also yourself as well if you want to save costs. We have a lot of vintage wallpaper in stock, and are situated in Belgium.

We also sell it by meter if preferred.

Check it out on www.swiet-vintage.com or www.swiet.be
